Frenchie
French comfort food: big flavour and zero fuss
The menu at Frenchie is refreshingly simple, serving straight-up French indulgence.
There are just two mains on the menu: grilled ribeye with pommes frites served either on a plate or in a baguette. Voilà. Keep it simple. The only decision you need to make is whether you’d like it with homemade béarnaise or pepper sauce.
A classic salade vinaigrette and a silky, homemade crème brûlée round out the Francophile menu.
Behind Frenchie are Shayon and Rojgar, the couple who also run the neighboring stall Gosht, known for its excellent Kurdish kebab. In other words, seasoned grill experts are behind the ribeye at Frenchie, and on special occasions, they even throw a whole tomahawk steak on the charcoal grill.
