Reffen is open from March to September. We are closed for the summer season but look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Yes, there is always free entry to Reffen - including our many concerts and similar events. We may host ticketed events in Werkstatt. You will find this in our event calendar here

Getting to and from Reffen
Many roads lead to Reffen:
Bike: Cycling along the water is by far the most popular - and probably the easiest - way to get to Reffen. Please park your bike outside Reffen where there is plenty of space for it.
Bus: Bus 2A runs to and from Refshaleøen (via Copenhagen Central Station) approximately every 10 minutes. The bus stop "Refshaleøen" is only a few minutes walk from Reffen.
Hop on hop off buses with the route name "Colorful Copenhagen" run to and from the same bus stop between 11:00 and 15:30 from Friday to Sunday.
Harbour bus: You can also get to Reffen by water. Harbour buses 991 and 992 run approximately every 20 minutes to and from the stop “Refshaleøen”, which is just a few minutes' walk from Reffen.
On foot: You can easily walk to Reffen. It shouldn't take more than 25-30 minutes from Nyhavn - including a quick dip in the harbour on the way.
By car: You can pretty much drive straight up to the entrance.
Yes, there is plenty of paid parking at Reffen. Remember to check the signs for parking regulations and be aware that there are no marked disabled parking zones. Please note that we do not operate the car parks. Read about the parking at Refshaleøen here
You can sail to Reffen and dock between 10:00 and 24:00 if you have bought a parking ticket from the machine on the quay. Moor your boat at Reffen and explore our street food market. We do not operate the mooring facilities by Reffen.
Food & drinks

Around 35 food stalls serve street food from all over the world every day of the season. The number of stalls varies slightly from season to season. Besides food, there are tattoo, glass studio and vintage clothing stalls at Reffen.
Most of Reffen's street food kitchens have vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. Ask in the food stall and they will happily adjust the dish or explore our guide here with some of the best vegetarian and vegan options at Reffen
Ask at the food stall when ordering if the food is halal, kosher, organic or similar.
No, that doesn’t work! Support our stallholders who are independent entrepreneurs and enjoy a delicious meal from one of them. Drinks can be purchased from our bars, which offer a wide range of water, wine, fizzy drinks, beer and cocktails.
Payment and booking
All bars and food stalls accept credit cards and cash (DKK). If you have a Reffen gift card, you can also pay with that.
You can buy Reffen gift cards on our website and in the bars, Beer Garden and BnW Bar. The gift card can be used in all of Reffen's food stalls and bars.
If the weather gods are having a bad day, you can eat and drink in our large covered Beer Garden and inside Werkstatt, where there's plenty of seating.
Yes, you can book a table for a minimum of eight people in our covered Beer Garden Monday - Saturday from 17:00 - 19:30. At all other times just turn up. There's plenty of space so you shouldn’t need to book.
You have your table for two hours from the time of booking and there is a polite self-service, so you pick up your drinks and food yourself.
Conditions for guests with special needs
Our staff are always on hand to help guests with special needs. The area where the food stalls and bars are located is flat and asphalted, and there are ramps where there are steps up to a food stall or bar.
Here are disabled toilets and the key to these toilets can be collected from the bars BnW Bar and Drueta. There is also a disabled toilet inside Werkstatt, which doesn't require a key.
Please note that on particularly busy sunny days, the bar and food areas can get crowded and bottlenecks can occur.
Reffen is a big hit for families with children. Here are play areas, a skate park, table tennis, petanque courts and much more. We organise lots of children's activities and serve food that will please taste buds of all ages.
Of course you can visit Reffen with a pram, just be aware that on particularly busy sunny days, the bar and food areas can get crowded and bottlenecks can occur.
Yes, there are changing tables in the disabled toilets at Reffen. The key to these toilets can be collected from the bars BnW Bar and Drueta. There is also a toilet with a changing table inside the disabled toilet in Werkstatt, which doesn't require a key.
Yes, you can bring your dog to Reffen as long as it is on a leash … and well-behaved.
Although you probably have exquisite taste in music and a great sound box, the answer is no, thank you. Enjoy Reffen's tunes instead. We play our own playlists, have resident DJs and lots of live concerts.
