A day party with high energy, hot records and disco al dente.
We're flying in legends Paul Older (Toytonics) and Beppe Loda. Two heavyweights of the disco world, ready to get the backyard vibrating with Italo House and Cosmic Disco.
And of course, like the mascarpone in a heavy tiramisu, Boogie Rookie ties it all together with his velvety smooth, cheeky finish.
Disco Al Dente is a celebration of life, Italian house and disco, sprinkled with love and a little parmigiano.

PAUL OLDER (TOY TONICS)
Paul Older is an Italian DJ, remixer, and vinyl connoisseur known for his rare edits and deep-cut selections spanning disco, tropical, and funk. A key figure in Italy’s disco revival, Paul has spent over 20 years digging into musical history and reimagining forgotten gems with style and precision.
With releases on respected labels like Toy Tonics and support from heavyweights such as Folamour, Kapote, and Marcel Vogel, his sound bridges vintage grooves with modern dancefloor energy. Paul is also the founder of Disco Mind Records, a vinyl-only label devoted to breathing new life into boogie rarities and jazz-funk treasures.
BEPPE LODA
There are very few living DJs that carry with them the historic position of this Italo dance floor trendsetter. Beppe Loda is one such handsome man; emerging from the rich dance culture of Milan. He pioneered the art of DJing by blending proto-industrial and Steve Reich vibes with afrobeat, disco, new-wave, krautrock etc in an eclectic mix that would later become known as the cosmic disco sound. Even though Beppe hates this phrase. As a resident for the legendary 1980’s Typhoon Club and through his coveted mixtapes, Beppe has directly influenced all of your favorite disco DJs in one form or another. Loda is a force that never stops - he has been dj'ing for around 50 years, he had his Panorama Bar debut at age 61 in 2018, and he is still playing around the world to this day! We can't wait to welcome him at Reffen.
BOOGIE ROOKIE
Boogie Rookie is Copenhagen’s dicoteque rock star. After 10 years of working in Denmark’s biggest record store he built up an eclectic vinyl set ranging from eurodance to acid jazz. His sets are full of nostalgia, synthesizers and drum machines and allthough they’re hard to put in a box space disco, hi-nrg, italo and acid and spaghetti-house are some of the genres that you might expect to hear.
His dj-sets have become famous in Copenhagen where he is a resident at venues like Jolene and Cecil but also at disco parties in Milano, Paris, Berlin, New York etc. His italo club night La Dolce Vita at Jolene has become one of the most well established italo-disco parties in Europe with guests like Beppe Loda, Prins Thomas, Franz Scala, Tommiboy, Daniel Monaco, Frinda Di Lanco and DJ Subaru.

In the intersection between sunny, happy, dark and trippy, you'll find Copenhagen native William 'Wille' Winding trucking along.
The lifelong DJ & Producer's sound is a tapestry of seemingly disparate musical connections like Italo, Acid House and Balearic Disco, driven by a self-professed mantra of "never second guessing yourself.
