Beer of the Month #2:
New Zealand Session IPA
Hop magic from the Southern Hemisphere
This time around we have brewed another hazy IPA. To be exact a New Zealand Session IPA. We are going with a lighter beer in general, lighter body, color, alcohol (5%) and also hop expression. We have used hops only from New Zealand and for the first time we are gonna use Sub Zero Hop Kief, which essentially hops oils, to finish the beer off with a fresh burst of hop flavor.
The hops used in the beer are Moetueka, Nelson Sauvin, Super Sauvin and Southern Cross, to bring out subtle flavors of lime, tropical fruits, white grapes and grapefruit. Expect a light beer with low bitterness which is perfect for the sun and cosy vibes at Reffen.
