At Reffen Brewery, we believe great beer starts with passion, creativity, and the finest ingredients. Located in the heart of Reffen Street Food, our brewery is dedicated to crafting unique, high-quality beers that complement the vibrant atmosphere of our community.

Behind the brewery is our talented team, head brewer Alex Bjærge Larsen and James Hunt. Alex has deep roots in the Copenhagen craft beer scene, maintaining strong connections with local brewers. Since 2019, he has run his own gypsy brewing company and is also a co-owner of a craft beer can shop on Amager. James, with a background in restaurants, bars and pubs, has a deep love for beer and the brewing process. Their expertise and passion ensure that every batch is brewed with precision and care, from selecting the best ingredients to perfecting the final pour.

Together, Alex and James experiment with flavors and techniques, creating everything from crisp, refreshing lagers to bold, aromatic IPAs and fruity, complex wheat beers. With over 10 different brews released throughout the season, there’s always something new to discover.

Beer of the month
A classic hazy new england IPA on 5,5%. We have started out with a bang and brewed a beer with the 3 big boys of hops. Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy. These hops are from both the northern and suthern hemisphere and pack a big punch of citrus, pineapple, mango and tropical fruit notes.

Together with danish base malts and belgian wheatmalt we have created a beer which has a balanced bitterness up against a sweet malty touch. The color is bright orange and the wheatmalt gives the beer a cloudy haze and also a creamy white head. Perfect beer for the spring and summertime. Expect big citrus, tropical fruit and ripe fruit notes.
