Sour Ale gone extra tropical
Summer is upon us, and we have something special on tap. Our new fruited sour ale might just be one of our best yet. Despite its modest 4.5% ABV, this beer is big on flavour.
The beer is brewed with 20% passion fruit juice, meaning a total of 200 litres of juice went into the batch. Alex and James from Reffen Brewery also added a splash of mango to bring out candy-like notes and extra tropical character.
It pours a bright yellow colour with a beautiful white head. This is summer in a glass, bringing back childhood memories of Solero ice cream on a warm day. Enjoy.
