All through the winter break, Reffen invites you to plenty of red-hot experiences, culminating in a Fastelavn extravaganza like no other. Not just one party, but two major celebrations: one for adults and one for kids.
Everyone is invited – and it’s completely free to join. Come and take a swing.
Fastelavn for adults
Saturday, February 14, 3 PM – 8 PM
Originally, Fastelavn (Nordic carnival) was a celebration for adults – and it still is at Reffen, just in a new disguise.
SMADRELAVN
Prepare for bone-crushing barrel bashing and heavy metal blasting as Smadrelavn takes over Reffen. Here, berserker mode is a virtue, empathy is a no-go, and the barrels are doomed from the start. Teams go head-to-head, and the many condemned barrels are packed with outrageously great prizes.
The hellish drum corps, Pigegarden fra Helvede, sets the pace, fire performers breathe flames, and you can release all your pent-up rage – and avoid a potential metal meltdown – by smashing steel barrels.
Reffen’s own heavyweights, James and Uni, keep the chaos in check with ice-cold focus and absolutely no mercy.
Diskolavn
In the Yellow Backyard, disco, karaoke and barrel smashing melt together in a sparkling whirlwind of rhythms and sounds.
The red carpet is rolled out, transforming the path to the barrel into a glittering catwalk. Go all in on swag, attitude, and drama – your moves will be judged, celebrated, and maybe even rewarded by the drop-dead gorgeous drag queens, Britney Corvette and Denise Delight
Never before have Fastelavn and barrel bashing been this glittery, glamorous, and utterly fabulous as at Diskolavn in Werkstatt.
Fastelavn for kids
Sunday, February 15, 11 AM – 3.30 PM
Every day during the winter holidays, Reffen invites the youngest guests to loads of fun activities, all culminating in a huge Fastelavn celebration that everyone is welcome to join.
Look forward to a day packed with barrel decorating, creative Fastelavn workshops, and face painting, where kids can transform into anything from cats and princesses to superheroes – only imagination sets the limits.
Reffi the Fox and festive entertainers will stop by with games, antics, and balloon animals, and of course there will be plenty of hit-the-barrel action as Cat Kings and Queens are crowned.
In true Reffen spirit, fair play is front and center. That’s why barrel bashing is divided into age groups, giving everyone a fair chance to be crowned – and of course, the barrels are filled with lots of tasty surprises.
