For a sexy night of tropical disco, local hero Boogie Rookie invites Berlin selectors Stella Zekri and Ed Longo who are in town for a free concert with their band Stella and the Longos.
After the concert at Reffen, the three jockeys will explore sunny genres like zouk, italo, afro-boogie, spaghetti disco, hi-nrg etc.
Stella Zekri and Ed Longo are both profilic Berlin-DJ’s focusing less on hard techno and more on the warm and groovy parts of rave culture. Their disco-adjacent dj-sets can be heard at parties like Body Language, Fandango, Cocktail D’Amore and Panorama Bar. Their shared love for the warm sounds of retro-dance music is was also what brought them together in their mega nice zouk-boogie band Stella and The Longos. Don’t sleep on their live concert before the party!
Other than a well executed concert the three jockeys will also be celebrating the release of Boogie Rookie’s new Italian summer-hit ‘Tutti Frutti’ which is released the same night.
All in all the forecast says 100% chance of a steamy and sunny night at the warehouse on the beach!
