Christmas Ball for children
First Sunday of Advent | November 30th | from 11:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
The biggest (and most enjoyable) Christmas party for the whole family, completely free of charge!
This year, we are once again inviting everyone to enjoy magical Christmas cheer, games, and fun for young and old alike, when Reffen Skøjteøen provides the setting for this year's big Christmas Ball for children.
Look forward to elf antics, Christmas boogie, creative Christmas workshops, and even a visit from Santa Claus himself—all in the middle of our winter oasis with bonfires, lights, and skating enthusiasts.
Once again this year, we have partnered with Hjælp Din Næste (Help Your Neighbor), which makes an important daily effort to help street people and vulnerable individuals around Copenhagen.
The need is especially great during the cold winter months, and we hope that our Christmas guests will want to help.
You can donate:
- Gloves, hats, thermal underwear, winter jackets, overtrousers, sleeping bags, sleeping mats.
Everything will be given directly to people who are in urgent need of warmth and care in the winter cold.
This year, Reffen Skøjteøen will light its big Christmas tree, a highlight for both children and adults!
PROGRAM
All day
- Christmas music at the skating rink
- Donation station in collaboration with Hjælp Din Næste
11.00 a.m.–3.00 p.m.: Christmas workshop with decorations for the Christmas tree (for all ages)
11.00 a.m.–2.00 p.m.: Christmas face painting
12.00 p.m.–2.30 p.m.: Reffen's mascot, Reffi the Fox, will stop by to say hello to the children
2.00 p.m.–2.30 p.m.: Christmas dance workshop for children
2.30 p.m.–3.00 p.m.: Christmas dance for children
3.00–4.30 p.m.: Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will stop by and enjoy candy and clementines
4.15–4.45 p.m.: The fiddler will play cheerfully for everyone to sing Christmas carols together
4.30 p.m.: Lighting of our 8+ meter tall Christmas tree + 100 free hot elderflower juices
6 p.m.: Movie Sunday in Beer Garden. Movie: The Grinch
Throughout the day, you can warm yourself by the bonfire, enjoy delicious street food, and, of course, take a spin on the ice rink.
It will be a day filled with Christmas spirit, laughter, and warm drinks.
