Argentine National Day

Peña & Community Dinner
On May 25, we’ll celebrate Argentina’s National Day at Reffen with an authentic Argentine peña—a lively, traditional gathering featuring music, dance, and a community dinner.
We invite Reffen’s Argentine colleagues, friends, and anyone else who’s curious to join us for an afternoon and evening featuring:
‣ Live Argentine folk music
‣ The traditional chacarera dance
‣ A long-table dinner featuring traditional milanesas de carne
The music will be provided by the Copenhagen-based quintet Munay, consisting of some of the most accomplished Argentine traditional musicians in Denmark. Before dinner, dance instructor Sofia Canosa will teach us the traditional chacarera dance—everyone is welcome to join in.
Throughout the evening, there will also be surprises and entertainment from Agustin de Olazabal, including juggling.

4:00 PM: Dance workshop (Chacarera)
5:00–6:00 PM: Juggling demonstration and lesson by Agustin de Olazabal
6:30–8:30 PM: Community dinner: Long-table dinner featuring traditional milanesas de carne + 1 beer/water/lemonade.
