The final pirouette has been made, and we’ve waved goodbye – and said see you soon – to a magical and festive skating season at Reffen Skøjteøen. A season where music filled the air, the ice was on fire, and the atmosphere crackled with excitement.
Skøjteøen became the stage for a dazzling array of events: silent discos, karaoke on ice, Lucia processions, skating performances, and lively kids’ discos. People of all ages took to the ice, improvising, racing across the rink, gliding through elegant partner dances – and, of course, sharing plenty of playful flirts. All of it bathed in enchanting lights and unforgettable tunes.
Off the ice, warmth and coziness radiated everywhere. Marshmallows roasted over open fires, a grand Christmas tree lighting filled the evening with cheer, and street food from sunnier lands added delicious flavors. Sunday films played in Beer Garden, while Werkstatt buzzed with a flea market, creative workshops, and glowing arcade games from dad’s teenage years..
In short, it was a season where Reffen Skøjteøen brought light, warmth, and a true sense of community to all of Refshaleøen.
