The weather may not have shown its sunny side, but that certainly didn’t stop us from throwing yet another spectacular Sankt Hans celebration at Reffen – bursting with flower power and full-on brass energy.
Inside Werkstatt, the finest midsummer flower crowns were crafted, and Tegneserie Trio had the entire Beer Garden swinging with their jazzy takes on classic animated hits.

Possibly the world’s largest – and without a doubt the most lovable – brass band of no fewer than 155 Norwegian children brought full brass power to their festive parade through Reffen.

And of course, there were Sankt Hans bonfires. Marshmallows were toasted over the children’s fire, and the traditional Midsummer song rang out as the big bonfire was lit. Sankt Hans at Reffen is pure fun, beauty, and atmosphere – no matter the weather.
