Christmas Double IPA
Christmas cheer meets hazy hop madness
Ready for some Christmas extravaganza? Alex and James from Reffen Brewery went completely overboard with this beer, brewed together with their good friend Nickolai from Ølsnedkeren Bryghus – Reffen Brewery’s first official collab.
With Christmas around the corner, the trio decided to create a big, bold Christmas Double IPA at 7.5% – a powerful bad boy packed with 30 grams of hops per liter. We’re talking Citra (T90), Citra (Dynaboost), Mosaic (T90), Idaho-7 (Hyperboost), Galaxy (T90), and, to top it all off, 20 kilos of vibrant mandarin purée for an extra citrusy, festive kick.
This is by far the thickest and most saturated IPA they’ve brewed to date, bursting with notes of citrus, overripe fruit, dankness, and mandarin on the finish.
